Lloydelle Little McKinney

Funeral services for Lloydelle Little McKinney, 84, of Lufkin, will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, December 16, 2014 at St. Cyprian’s Episcopal Church with The Reverend Max Reynolds officiating. Interment will follow in the Garden of Memories Memorial Park.

Mrs. McKinney was born September 4, 1930 in Lufkin, Texas. She went to be with the Lord on Monday, December 15, 2014.

She went to Highland Park High School in Dallas. She attended Texas Christian University in Fort Worth and LSU in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, where she was a proud member of Kappa Kappa Gamma Sorority. Lloydelle was also a member of the Order of the Daughters of the King. She lived for many years in Houston while raising her four beloved children.

She is survived by her loving family; son, David Lloyd Jordan and wife Francine of Howell, New Jersey; daughter, Jeannine Jordan of Austin; son, Byron Alan Jordan and wife Jenny of Elgin; daughter, Peri Jordan of Austin; 10 adoring grandchildren, Jonathan, Todd, Ashley Vargas and husband Justin, Brittany, Shane, Justin, Lacy, Vannessa, Tamara Knight and husband Darrell, and Brandon; great-grandchildren, Carson, Kendall and Lyla; sister, Llewellyn Frazier and husband Mack; sister-in-law, Linda Little; and numerous nephews and nieces.

She was preceded in death by her husband, R. Jack McKinney; parents, Mr. and Mrs. L. A. “Pete” Little; and brother, William T. Little, Sr.

The family extends special thanks to the nursing staff at PineCrest Health Care and especially to Barbara Coutee and J’Kendrick Potts.
