Robert Daniel Villanueva

Funeral services for Robert Daniel Villanueva, 21, of Diboll, will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, January 22, 2015 at Emanuel Assembly of God, 1818 N. Timberland Drive, with Ruben Luna and Steve Comstock officiating. Interment will follow in the Garden of Memories Memorial Park.

Robert was born February 5, 1993 in Galveston, Texas. He passed away Monday, January 19, 2015 at his residence.

Robert was employed as a caregiver at Lufkin State School.

Survivors include his parents, Jesus Jr. and Ana Villanueva of Diboll; son, Angel Antonio Villanueva of Lufkin; sister, Christene Drayton of Diboll; brother, Jesus Villanueva III of Diboll; grandparents, Juan and Maria Mijares of Lufkin and Jesus Sr. and Margarita Villanueva of Moscow; great-grandfather, Jose Bermudez of Lufkin; nephew, Jalen Bryce Drayton of Diboll; aunts and uncles, Juan Jose and Mary Mijares, Marco and Obdulia Mijares, Miguel Angel Mijares, Elizabeth and Juan Lopez, all of Lufkin, Sandy and Joe Martinez of Diboll, Rosa and Uriel Escobedo of Lufkin, Benita and Jason Gonzales of Houston and Maggie and Justin Payne of Moscow, Texas; and a number of other family members.

Pallbearers will be Jesus Villanueva III, J J Mijares, Gaspy Mijares, Victor Villarreal, Ivan Alvarez, Cesar Duran, Eduardo Miranda and Hilario Miranda.

Honorary pallbearers will be Juan Mijares, Marco Mijares and Juan Lopez.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Wednesday evening at the church with an evening prayer service at 7:00 p.m.
