Mr. Montalvo was born September 15, 1946 in Mexico, the son of the late Adelina (Gonzalez) and Gregorio Montalvo. He passed away Monday, February 10, 2014 in a local hospice facility.
Mr. Montalvo was a machinist in the steel foundry business. He was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather.
Survivors include his wife, Elvira Montalvo of Lufkin;daughters, Mary Montalvo and Sonia Montalvo, both of Lufkin; grandchildren, Vanessa G. Herrera, Frankie Castillo, Jr., Eddie Herrera, Jr., and Joey Rodriguez, all of Lufkin; sister, Enriqueta Hernandez of Lufkin; and a number of nieces, nephews, and other family members.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Candelario Montalgo; and nephew, Candy Montalvo, Jr.
