Sandra Griffin

Survivors include her husband, Bobby Griffin of Lufkin; son and daughter-in-law, Rusty and Laura Griffin of Lufkin; daughters and sons-in-law, Jeri and Hardy Meredith of Nacogdoches and Jana and David Poole of League City; grandsons, Heath Meredith, Blake Meredith, Hardy Christopher Meredith, Garrett Few, Scott Fink and Mason Rodriguez; granddaughters, Natalie Poole and Janiel Rodriguez; mother, Carole Beene of Lufkin, and a number of other family members.

Sandy was preceded in death by her father, Tommy Beene.

Sandy and Bobby were married on January 24, 1976 in Houston, Texas. Their thirty-five years together included horse riding, entertaining friends and running a welding business. She enjoyed the outdoors, gardening, and animals. Sandy was one of Jehovah's Witnesses.

Services for Sandy will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday, July 4, 2011 in the Gipson Funeral Home Chapel,.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Sunday evening at Gipson Funeral Home.
