Thelma Odelle Mott Jones

Services for Thelma Odelle Jones, 94, of Zavalla, Texas, will be held at 1:00 p.m. Monday, March 9, 2015 in the Gipson Funeral Home Chapel, with Bro. Dub Bullard, Bro. Don Grigsby, and Bro. Marty Malone officiating. Interment will follow in the Zavalla Cemetery.

Mrs. Jones was born March 28, 1920 in Zavalla, Texas, the daughter of the late Edna (Rogers) and Billy Mott. She passed away Wednesday, March 4, 2015 in Mansfield, Texas.

She was an honorable member of Zavalla United Pentecostal Church.

Survivors include her daughters, Frances Reeves, Martha Keely and husband John, Cay Wheeler and husband Jim; son, Thomas Jones and wife Judy; grandchildren, Jennifer Reeves, Michael Reeves and wife, Amy, Mitchell Reeves and wife, Lori, Troy Keely and wife, Sherry, Shanna Gillin and husband, Michael, Judy Cay Gillin and husband, James, Thomas Jones, Jr., Anna Shaver, Jim Wheeler, Jr. and wife, Larissa, Jacob Wheeler and wife, Melissa; 18 great-grandchildren; 6 great-great-grandchildren; one sister, Bessie Hodges; three nephews; one niece; and a number of great-nieces and great-nephews and other family members.

Pallbearers will be Jim Wheeler, Jr., Jacob Wheeler, James Gillin, Jr.; Thomas Jones, Jr., Troy Keely, Jr, and Brandon Reeves.

The family will receive friends from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. Sunday afternoon at the funeral home.
