Services for Vincent Edward Stratton, 75, of Lufkin, will be held at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, July 27, 2023 in the Elwyn M. Gipson Memorial Chapel, located in the Garden of Memories Memorial Park, 5205 S. First Street, Lufkin, Texas.
Mr. Stratton was born January 1, 1948 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, the son of the late Ann (Bishko) and Edward Stratton. He passed away Sunday, July 23, 2023 in a local nursing facility.
Mr. Stratton was a loving father and grandfather. He was retired from the Department of Defense as an auditor. He enjoyed singing in the church choir, dancing, taking long walks on the beach, and going to the mall on Fridays. He was a loving father and loved his family.
Survivors include his daughter and son-in-law, Rebecca and Douglas Rollins of Washington; son, Andrew Stratton of New Jersey; grandson, Ptolemy Rollins; granddaughter, Aynara Rollins; and mother of his children, Judith Stratton of New Jersey.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Stratton was preceded in death by his sister, Diane Stratton; and granddaughter, Hyla Rollins.
