Services for Yvonne Womack Lewis, 94, of Lufkin will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, February 7, 2022 in the Elwyn M. Gipson Chapel in the Garden of Memories Memorial Park in Lufkin, Texas. Interment will follow in the Garden of Memories Memorial Park.

Yvonne was born August 19, 1927 in Jasper, Texas and passed away February 1, 2022 at a local nursing facility in Lufkin, Texas.
She retired from Temple-Inland Inc., having worked 35 years as a secretary; 23 years in the Tax and Title Department in the Jasper office and 12 years in the corporate office in Diboll.
Anyone who knew her knows she thoroughly enjoyed the retirement years with her three little Dachshunds, Charlie, Addie, and Callie, her big buddy.
Yvonne was preceded in death by her parents, Ben and Ethel Womack; brother and sister-in-law, Cecil and Odell Womack; sister and brother-in-law, Dinah and Wilmer Martindale and nephew, Kenny Martindale.
In lieu of flowers, expression of sympathy may be offered in her memory to Hospice in the Pines, or any charitable organization.
Services are under the direction of Gipson Funeral Home.
