Mrs. Alice L. LaCerda Nelson

Born in Cambridge, and educated in Revere, daughter of the late Frederick and Alice (Balfe) LaCerda,, she resided in Hampton for the past 37 years, previously residing in Lynn for most of her life.

She was employed as a Nurse’s Assistant in Lynn and Exeter, NH for many years until her retirement.

Alice’s passion was spending time with her family and friends

She leaves her loving daughter Judith Marsh and her husband John of Lynnfield, her sister Alma M. Clifford of Hampton, NH, with whom she made her home, three grandchildren John R. Marsh, Jr., of Austin, TX, Jeffrey R. Marsh and his wife Christine, of Boxford, MA, and Jennifer A. McKean and her husband Ronald, of Melrose, five great grandchildren, Cortney Marsh, Claudia Marsh, Julia Marsh, all of Boxford, Ryan McKean, and Ashley McKean, both of Melrose, and several nieces and nephews.

She was sister of the late Casmire LaCerda, Frederick LaCerda, Helen Cavaliri, and Genevive Flannery.

Funeral from the Cuffe-McGinn Funeral Home 157 Maple St., Lynn Saturday at 9 AM. Funeral Mass in Our Lady of the Assumption Church, Lynnfield at 10 AM. Relatives and friends respectfully invited to attend. Visiting Hours Friday 4-7 PM. Interment in Pine Grove Cemetery.
