Barbara Lyn Coocen Coombs

Born in Lynn and a lifelong Lynn resident, she was the daughter of Barbara (Razney) Coocen of Saugus, and of the late James Coocen. She graduated from Lynn English High School, Class of 1975. Barbara formerly worked as a forklift operator at the G. E. River Works in Lynn for ten years. In addition to her mother, she leaves three children Jason M., Allison R. and Ashley A. Coombs, four siblings Nicholas J. Coocen and his wife Lori of Peabody, Chester J. Coocen and his companion, Saundra Keenan of Orlando, FL, Frederick A. Coocen and his wife Laura of Parkersburg, WV, and Lysa M. Coocen of Lynn. Seven grandchildren as well as several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins also survive her.

A Funeral Service will be held in the CUFFE-McGINN FUNERAL HOME 157 Maple Street Lynn on Monday, June 26, 2017 at 11 AM. Family and friends are invited to attend visiting hours on Sunday, June 25, 2017 from 3-7 PM at the funeral home. Burial will take place at a later date.
