

Born in Roxbury, she was the daughter of the late Daniel and Sarah (MacLeod) Ferguson. She lived in Lynn for the greater part of her life.
She worked as an assembler for 42 years at the General Electric Company West Lynn Plant, and retired in 1979. She was a member of I.U.E. Local 201, AFL-CIO.
She was an active member of St. Stephen’s Memorial Episcopal Church, Lynn, and worked for the church rummage sales and church fairs. She was also active with Habitat for Humanity.
She leaves a brother Charles S. Fowler of Lynn, and many nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews. Bernice was the sister of the late Kenneth Ferguson, Alexandria Messina, Johanna Mulcahy and Anna Ferguson.
The funeral will be held on Monday at 9 AM from the Cuffe-McGinn Funeral Home 157 Maple Street, Lynn. Funeral Service in St. Stephen’s Memorial Episcopal Church, Lynn at 10 AM. Burial in Pine Grove Cemetery. Visiting hours Sunday 3-5 PM. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to St. Stephen’s Memorial Episcopal Church, 74 So. Common Street, Lynn, MA 01902.
