Bette Kay Lloyd

Bette was the daughter of the late Carl Gottfried Anderson and the late Marcella Belle (Coffin) Anderson.

Bette was born in Lynn, MA. She became a house mother at one of the first group homes for troubled boys in Dobbs Ferry N.Y. After that she worked as a house mother in a girl’s reform school in Connecticut. After that she became a house mother for abused and troubled kids in Pennsylvania.

In Bette’s later years, she worked as the assistant manager at the Hill View Country Club in North Reading and Oakley Country Club in Watertown.

Bette is survived by her loving husband Bruce Lloyd, with whom she shared 63 years of marriage. Four blessed children Wanda Rudokas and her husband Leo, Jayne Collibee and partner Danny, Russell Lloyd and his wife Michelle, and Dug Lloyd and his wife Sandy. Four beloved grandchildren, Abigail Burke, Jacob Lloyd, Amelia (Collibee) Peguero and the late Haley Collibee and two precious great grandchildren Carson Collibee, and Nuela Peguero.
