

It is with great sadness that the family of Bruce Paul Therrien announces his passing due to cardiac arrest while shoveling on January 4, 2018, at the age of 60 years. Bruce is survived and lovingly remembered by his partner of 25 years Scott J Stirling; his father Robert Therrien of Plainville, CT; sister Sharon and her former husband Robert Herdlein of Manchester, NH; uncle Paul and aunt Sue Therrien of Collinsville, CT; niece Anna Herdlein of Lowell, MA; nephew Matthew Herdlein of Manchester, NH; and many relatives and friends. Bruce is predeceased by his mother Jeannette Therrien.
Bruce is lovingly remembered by the family of Scott J Stirling including his parents Jim and Gail Stirling of Venice, FL; his brother Eric and his wife Stephanie Stirling of Plymouth, WI; his brother Chris Stirling and his significant other Felicia Carreiro of Methuen, MA; uncle Doug and aunt Isabel Clark of Leesburg, FL; niece Kaitlynn Stirling and her fiancé Ben Honeck; niece Meghan Stirling; and nephews Joshua and Stephen Stirling and Malakai Denault.
Bruce worked for 30 years at the Christian Book Distributors in Peabody, MA, he considered his co-workers to be his second family. Bruce and Scott enjoyed traveling to many of their favorite places including Palm Springs, CA and Walt Disney World in Orlando, FL. Bruce was looking forward to their upcoming trip to visit Palm Springs in February to celebrate their 25th Anniversary. Bruce was known for his love of rollercoasters and his chocolate and pumpkin pies.
Family and friends are invited to attend a gathering for Bruce on Tuesday, January 9, 2018 from 3-7 PM at Cuffe-McGinn Funeral Home, 157 Maple Street, Lynn, MA 01904. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in his memory to the Northeast Animal Shelter, 347 Highland Ave, Salem, Massachusetts 01970.
