

Born in Providence, RI, he was the son of the late Verne O. and Maryon H. (Chappell) Hesselton.
Mr. Hesselton served in the 158th Fighter Wing of the Vermont Air National Guard and previously with the Vermont National Guard.
Among his many talents, Cardin specialized in communication through advertising and promotion. He worked for the Gaither Music Organization for many years. Previous to that, he was responsible for purchasing precision engine parts for General Electric in Cincinnati, OH and Ludlow VT.
Mr. Hesselton was an Eagle Scout, following his passion for communication, he was an Extra Class HAM Radio operator. He was also a member of the Grand Lodge of Vermont, Free and Accepted Masons of Rutland Vermont.
Cardin loved people and because of this, people gravitated to him.
Besides his wife, Sharon, he is survived by 1 son, Bruce Hesselton of Salem, NH; 2 Daughters, Linda H. Simpkins of Cincinnati and Sondra S. Scholl of Tampa, FL
Mr. Hessleton’s funeral will be private and interment will take place in Ludlow Village Cemetery, Ludlow, VT at the convenience of the family.
