Cecil Mills Smith

Cecil was born to the late Elwood and Cecilia (Weeks) Smith on August 23, 1931. He was a graduate of Minneola High School in Long Island, NY. An honorable discharged veteran, he served his country during the Korean Conflict as a member of the United States Navy.

Mr. Smith had been employed for twenty-eight years as a packer for the United States Gypsum Company in Charlestown prior to his retirement.

Cecil was a very loving, giving and kind man to his family and everyone he met. He will be sorely missed by his family and friends.

In addition to his wife, with whom he shared 28 years of marriage, he is survived by his brother, John E. Smith; his sister-in-law, Laura Mazzocca & her husband James Dunn and his brother-in-law, Nicolo Mazzocca.

His Funeral Service will be held in the CUFFE-MCGINN FUNERAL HOME, 157 Maple St. Lynn on Monday at 12 Noon. Interment at Pine Grove Cemetery. Visiting Hours Sunday from 1-5 PM. Gifts in his memory may be sent to the American Heart Association, PO Box 3049, Syracuse, NY 13220.
