

Born in Lowell, Charles was the son of Violet (King) Dooley of Lynn and the late Charles R. Dooley, Sr. He enlisted in the United States Navy and proudly served his country as a member of the Navy seabees during the Vietnam War.
Prior to his retirement, Charles spent over 26 years as a Project Craftsman Pipefitter for the G.E. Riverworks. He also held a journeyman gas-fitter’s license. He was a late member of the Connery Post #6 in Lynn. He greatly enjoyed fishing on Sluice Pond. An avid Red Sox and Patriots fan, he also enjoyed collecting baseball cards.
In addition to his wife and mother, Charles leaves his two daughters: Kimberly Parker and her husband Scott of Lynn and Beth Dooley of Manchester, NH. He was the brother to Dolores Coloyan and her husband Richard of New Port Richey, FL and Linda Tahany and her husband David of Salem. He was the loving grandfather to Harrison and Samuel Parker. Also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Charles’ Funeral Service will be held in the CUFFE-MCGINN FUNERAL HOME, 157 Maple St. Lynn on Thursday at 10:00AM. Relatives and friends invited. Interment Pine Grove Cemetery. Visiting Hours Wednesday 4-8PM. In lieu of flowers, gifts in his memory may be sent to the Boston Children’s Hospital Trust, 401 Park Drive, Suite 602, Boston, MA 02215.
