Charles J. Malo

Charles J. “Charlie” Malo, of Seabrook, NH and formerly a long-time resident of Lynn, passed away in the Exeter Hospital in Exeter, NH on Thursday, April 5, 2018 at the age of 80. Born in Lynn on June 9, 1937, he was the son of the late Charles and Loretta (Turcotte) Malo. Charlie was raised and educated in Lynn. He went to work at an early age for the General Electric Co. in Lynn working in their air craft division assembling turbines. Charlie married Dorothy Hill in Lynn and the couple settled in Lynn where they lived for many years before moving to their home in Seabrook. Charlie enjoyed his early retirement from GE in 1997. He was also a member of the GE Local 201 of Lynn. Charlie had an artistic eye and a crafty hand and loved spending time with his family.

In addition to his wife Dorothy, Charlie leaves his children: Arlin Thomas of Lynn, Renee Ritchey of Seabrook, and Charles Malo, Jr. of Seabrook, along with 5 grandchildren and his brother, William Malo and his wife, Kathy of Lynn.

A Funeral Service will be held in the CUFFE-McGinn Funeral Home, 157 Maple St. Lynn on Tuesday, April 10, 2018 at 7pm. Visiting Hours will be held prior to the service from 4 to 7pm. All other services will be held privately. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Charlie’s memory may be made to the American Diabetes Assoc. 260 Cochituate Rd. #200, Framingham, MA 01701.
