Claire C. DeLacey

Born in Lynn on April 15, 1914 and a lifelong Lynn resident, she was the daughter of the late Stephen J. and Catherine A. (Meaney) DeLacey. She graduated from St. Mary’s Girls High School and from the Lynn Hospital School of Nursing. She was a member of the Lynn Hospital School of Nursing Alumni Assn.

Claire was a private duty nurse in Lynn for over 30 years. She was a longtime communicant of St. Mary’s Parish and was a member of the Infant of Prague Guild. She was also a member of the Notre Dame Federation.

Claire was the sister of the late John J. DeLacy, Francis S. DeLacey, William H. DeLacey, Mildred F. DeLacey, Sr. Rose Catherine, SND, and Rose M. DeLacey. She leaves several nieces, nephews, grandnieces,grandnephews, great-grandnieces and great-grandnephews.

A Visitation will be held in St. Mary’s Church, 8 South Common Street, Lynn on Tuesday at 10 AM, followed by a Funeral Mass at 11 AM. Burial in St. Joseph’s Cemetery.
