Colleen Patricia Whitehead

Colleen P. (Anderson) Whitehead, age 40, a life-long resident of Lynn, passed away Sunday, November 22, 2015 after a lengthy illness in the Kaplan Family Hospice House in Danvers. Born in Lynn on January 25, 1975, she was the daughter of David Anderson and his wife, Gloria of Lynn and Pauline (Osgood) Baldwin of Peabody. Colleen was raised and educated in Lynn and was a graduate of Lynn English High School. She continued her education and was a graduate of Marian Court College with an Associate’s Degree in Accounting. She worked for the past 15 years as a publishing manager for the Hachette Book Group Publishing Company. It was there she met and married her best friend, Frederick J. Whitehead and they were married on July 25, 2015. Colleen was a dedicated mother to her children and family and always put everyone before herself. In addition to her husband and parents, Colleen is survived by her children, Andrew D. Rainey of Lynn and Frederick J. Whitehead, III of Quincy, her sister Melissa Walsh and her husband Matt, of Lynn. Family and friends are invited to a memorial service in the Cuffe-McGinn Funeral Home, 157 Maple St. LYNN on Sunday, November 29, 2015 at 4:00 PM. Visiting hours will be held prior from 1:00 to 4:00 PM.
