David Warren Randell

Mr. David Warren Randell, age 81, of Windham, NH formerly of Lynn, died Friday afternoon in the Merrimack Valley Hospice House following a lengthy illness. He was the former husband of Rita (Sapuppo) Randell.

Born in Lynn, Dave was the son of the late Edward C. and Anna C. (Reed) Randell. He was a graduate of Lynn English High School Class of 1947 and later attended Northeastern University where he obtained his Engineering Degree. He resided in Lynn for most of his life before moving to New Hampshire 5 years ago.

He enlisted in the United States Air Force and proudly served his country during the Korean Conflict. Prior to his retirement, Dave worked as an engineer for the GE and later for the Masoneilan Company.

He was a former member of the Lynn Knights of Pythias. He enjoyed working on cars, golfing, football and cooking.

Dave also leaves his daughters, Lisa Randell and Lori Randell-Evans both of Lynn, Lynne Randell of Merrimac and Suzanne Randell of Windham, NH. He was the Grandfather of Jeffrey, Jessica, Kelsey, Andrew and Hannah Randell and is also survived by many nieces and nephews. He was the brother of the late Edward C. Randell, Jr.

A Memorial Service will be held in the CUFFE-MCGINN FUNERAL HOME, 157 Maple St. Lynn on Thursday at 11:00AM. Relatives and friends invited. Interment Cedar Grove Cemetery, Peabody. Visitation prior to the Service beginning at 10:00AM. Gifts in Dave’s memory may be sent to your local animal shelter.
