Diana Rose Babbitt

Diana Rose Babbitt, age 77, of Salem, NH, died Sunday July 14th at Greystone Farm Assisted Living in Salem, NH after a long battle with diabetes and dementia.  Prior to her time in Salem, Diana was a long time resident of Lynn and was the daughter of the late Samuel and Margaret (Decoste) Babbitt. Diana attended Lynn schools and graduated from Lynn Classical High School in 1964.  After high school, Diana took a job with John Hancock Life Insurance Company in Boston and spent her entire career there until her retirement in 2002.

Diana enjoyed spending time with friends and family, listening to music, playing bingo and going to casinos.  She is survived by her nephew Craig Babbitt and his wife Barbara of Green, OH, her niece Kristin Beaudet and her husband Sean of Sandown, NH, her sister-in-law Marcia Babbitt of Georgetown, five grandnieces and grandnephews: Will, Teddy, Emily, Katelyn, and Caroline, along with many cousins.  Diana was also sister to the late Michael Babbitt.

Service Details: Relatives and friends are invited to a gathering at the Parker Funeral Home 35 Franklin St. Lynn on Saturday from 10:30 AM to 12:30 PM. Burial will be private
