Eileen Buckley

Born in Lynn, she was the daughter of the late James and Alice T. (Hennessey) Buckley. She attended Lynn Schools and was a graduate of Lynn English High School. She lived in Lynn and Peabody for most of her life before moving to North Carolina 6 years ago.

Prior to her retirement, she worked as a stitcher in the Lynn Shoe Industry.

Eileen enjoyed playing Bingo, crossword puzzles, watching Lawrence Welk and going to Mass. She was a former parishioner of Saint Ann’s Church of Peabody.

She leaves her sister, Marguerite George of Saxapahaw, NC and brother-in-law, John Daneluk of Beverly, Ma. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Rev. Robert Buckley, John Buckley, James Buckley, Phyllis Daneluk, Gertrude Buckley, Catherine Buckley, Mary Callahan and Claire Forrest.

Eileen’s Funeral will be held from the CUFFE-MCGINN FUNERAL HOME, 157 Maple St. Lynn on Tuesday at 10:30AM followed by a Funeral Mass in Saint Pius V Church at 11:00AM. Relatives and friends are invited. Interment Saint Mary’s Cemetery. Visitation prior to Mass beginning at 8:30AM. Gifts in Eileen’s memory may be sent to a charity of one’s choice.
