Born in Everett, she was the daughter of the late Gordon and Nellie (Appt) MacKay. She lived in Lynn for many years and in Malden for the past 20 years.
Betty enjoyed bowling and bingo.
She leaves 2 sons John J. Strzesak, Jr. and his companion Cathleen Cross of Ipswich, and Steven J. Strzesak and his companion Denise Allen of Irvine, CA, four sisters Violet McCabe and Emma MacKay both of Malden, Phyllis Williams of NH and Jean Brogna of FL, two brothers Lester MacKay of Pompano Beach, FL, and George MacKay of Revere, 3 grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. She was also the sister of the late David MacKay and Mary Nugent.
A funeral Service will be held on Monday at 11AM in the Cuffe-McGinn Funeral Home 157 Maple Street, Lynn. Visiting hours Sunday 2-5 PM.
