Born and raised in Lynn to the late James and Catherine MacCabe. Ellen was a graduate of St. Mary’s High School and later Marian Court College. Following her education, she worked as a secretary for the IRS. She loved her family pets, watching the Bruins, crocheting, ceramics, and bowling.
Ellen’s visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 1, 2025 from 4:00 to 7:00 PM at the Cuffe-McGinn Funeral Home, 157 Maple Street, Lynn. Her funeral service will be held on Thursday, January 2, 2025 at 10:30 AM at Cuffe-McGinn Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Pine Grove Cemetery, Lynn. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Ellen’s name to the American Society of the Prevention of Cruelty of Animals, www.aspca.org.
