

Florence A. “Sue” (Lessor) Wilson, age 69 years, of Lynn, passed away peacefully on Tuesday afternoon, May 5, 2015, surrounded by family and close friends in her home. She was the wife of Earl L. Wilson. Born in Salem, she was the daughter of the late Dorothy (Raymond) Lessor and step-daughter of the late Fred Waselchuk.
Sue had been employed in the leather and shoe factories in Lynn prior to being a home health aide in the North Shore area for many years. Mrs. Wilson truly enjoyed her career as an aide and being able to give comfort to grieving families. She was particularly fond of caring for those with special needs.
A lifelong resident of Lynn, she was also an avid bingo player at St. Mary’s in Lynn for many years. Sue enjoyed spending time with her family. She loved all animals, especially her cats and grand-dogs.
She is survived by her daughter, Mikki Lynne Wilson of Lynn; her son, Robert Leva and his wife Heidi of Hudson, NH; five brothers, William Lessor of Lynn; Ray Nelson of Lynn, Phil Lessor of Marblehead, George "Arthur" Nelson of Chelmsford, and the late Eugene “Bob” Nelson; one sister, Dorothy Eaton of Lynn; two grandchildren, Chelsea and Casey Leva and several nieces and nephews. She was also the mother of William Leva of Peabody and the late Deanna Leva.
Her Memorial Funeral Service will be held in the CUFFE-MCGINN FUNERAL HOME, 157 Maple St. Lynn on Monday at 7 PM. Relatives and friends invited. Memorial Visitation prior to her service on Monday from 4-7 PM. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be sent to Northeast Arc, 64 Holten St, Danvers, MA 01923.
