Fran Grohman

Frances “Fran” Ann (Morgan) Grohman, age 79, of Lynn, passed away on Friday, December 13, 2024. She was the beloved wife of the late Richard Grohman with whom she shared 38 years of marriage. Born in 1945 in Bronx, New York, she was the daughter of the late Arthur and Rita (Belliveau) Morgan.

Fran grew up in the Bronx and then her family moved back to Lynn. She graduated from St. Mary’s High School, Class of 1963. She worked as Secretary for over 20 years at Sentry Insurance and then she went on to work for over 20 years at Massachusetts General Hospital in Revere. She had a passion for the beach, the sun, all animals, especially her beloved cats, but her favorite past time of all was spending time with her family and friends.

Fran was the dear sister of Robert Morgan and his wife Marilyn of Wakefield, and the late Carol O’Connor and her late husband Rod, the cherished niece of Doris Buonomo and her late husband Joseph, the adored aunt of Michael O’Connor and his wife Renee, Stephen O’Connor, Kathy (O’Connor) Riveiro and her husband Michael, and Karen O’Connor, and the very special great aunt of Kevin Riveiro, Katie (Riveiro) Scalici and her husband Dan, and Brendan O’Connor.

A Celebration of Life will be held in the future. Dates will be provided when they become available.
