

Born in Lynn he was the son of the late Clarence O. and Loretto Agnes (Card) Brown. Frank attended Lynn Schools and graduated from Lynn Vocational Technical Institute Class of 1954. He also attended General Electric Apprentice Program and was employed at the Riveworks Plant as a Machinist, before moving into Quality Control and eventually moved into management for many years until he retired in 1994. Frank was a member of the Eastern Rifle and Revolver Club and the G. E. Bowling League. He enjoyed traveling, cruises, watching cooking shows, and especially loved spending time with his family.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by one son Franklin R. and his wife Maryjo Brown of Tewksbury, two daughters Patricia and her husband Thomas Clements of Nahant, Sandra and her husband Kendal Stephens of Cary, Illinois, four grandchildren, six great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Service Details: Visitation for Frank will be held at the Parker Funeral Home 35 Frankin St. Lynn on Saturday from 10:00 – 11:00 AM, followed by a Funeral Service at 11:00 AM to which relatives and friends are invited to attend. Burial will follow in Pine Grove Cemetery.
Franklin R. Brown, of Lynn, age 88, died Wednesday July 16th at his home after a lengthy illness. He was the husband of Patricia Ann (Spurr) Brown, with whom he shared 66 years of marriage.
