

Mrs. Gloria M. (Taylor) Houle, age 86, of Littleton and formerly of Lynn, died Tuesday, April 26th, after a lengthy illness. She was the wife of Wilbert S. Houle, with whom she had been married for almost 64 years.
Born in Lynn, she was the daughter of the late Albert and Florence (Westwell) Taylor. She graduated from St. Mary’s Girls High School and lived in Lynn for most of her life. She lived in Littleton for the past 4 years and previously lived in Ayer and West Townsend.
Before retiring she worked for several years for Barry & O’Connor Insurance Agency of Lynn. She formerly worked for the Army Corps of Engineers in Boston.
Gloria had a number of close girlfriends, “the Club”, that she remained friends with since high school.
She was a communicant of St. Ann’s Church in Littleton and was a former communicant of St. Pius V Church, Lynn.
Gloria loved family trips, especially to the White Mountains. She enjoyed dining out and going for scenic drives.
She leaves two sons Thomas Houle and his wife Barbara of West Townsend, and Timothy Houle of Lynn, a daughter Maureen Pineau of Hudson, NH, and seven grandchildren Jason and Daniel Houle, Joseph and Cara Pineau, Samantha, Tyler and Shannon Houle.
She was also the mother of the late Mary E. Houle who died in 2003.
Funeral from the Cuffe-McGinn Funeral Home 157 Maple Street, Lynn on Monday at 9:30AM. Funeral Mass in St. Pius V Church Lynn at 10:30 AM. Burial in Pine Grove Cemetery, Lynn. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited. Visiting hours Sunday 2-5 PM.
