Harold W. Lang

Born in Lynn, he was the son of the late Arthur and Elizabeth (Dwyer) Lang. He graduated from Northeastern University with a degree in Mechanical Engineering.

Prior to his retirement, Harold was a General Manager of Hansen Engineering. He enjoyed spending time with his family, gardening and outdoor activities. Harold was an avid Boston sports fan and a Boy Scout Master.

Harold proudly defended our freedom in the United States Navy while stationed in the South Pacific during WWII.

In addition to his wife, he leaves his children, Gail Gauthier and her husband Peter, Susan F. Lang-Challinor and her husband Bruce, Thomas Lang and his wife Lucille, Theresa Choo and her husband Arthur, John Lang and his wife Debra, and David Lang and his wife Kimberly. He was the Grandfather to Felicia Carreiro, Michael Carreiro, Dana Carreiro, Domenic and Christina Ferrande, Jason Marr, Tanya Sears, Stephanie, Victoria and A.J. Choo, Kathrine and Jacob Lang, and Daniel and Ryan Lang. Harold was the Great Grandfather of Justin Carreiro. He was the brother to Helen Lang and the late David, Arthur and Harlan Lang. Harold was also survived by several nieces, nephews and friends.

Harold’s Funeral will be held from the CUFFE-MCGINN FUNERAL HOME, 157 Maple St. Lynn on Friday at 9:00AM followed by a Funeral Mass in St. Pius V Church at 10:00AM. Relatives and friends invited. Visiting Hours Thursday 4-8PM. In lieu of flowers, gifts in his memory may be sent to The American Lung Association, 460 Totten Pond Rd.
