Herbert D. Davis Sr.

Herbert David Davis, Sr. a resident of Saugus, passed away in the Kaplan Family Hospice House in Danvers on Thursday, August 24, 2017 at the age of 61. Born in Haverhill on December 27, 1955, he was the son of the late Herbert and Jane (Enokian) Davis. Herbert was raised and educated in Boston and was a self-employed carpenter. He was a jack of all trades and enjoyed his rock and country music.

Herbert leaves his beloved wife of almost 42 years, Ruth-Mary (Christie) Davis of Saugus, his son, Herbert D. Davis, Jr. and his fiancé, Kelly O’Keefe of Salem, and his daughter, Jennifer Davis of Saugus. He also leaves his grandchildren, Brandi Weatherbee of Saugus and Samuel Weatherbee of Lynn, his siblings, Dorothy Adams and her husband, Kenneth of Lynn, John Davis and his wife, Lisa of Lynn, and Brian Davis of Boston. Many nieces and nephews also survive him.

Visiting Hours will be held in the Cuffe-McGinn Funeral Home, 157 Maple St. LYNN on Tuesday, August 29, 2017 from 4 to 8 pm. All other service will be private. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Herbert’s memory may be made to the: American Cancer Society, 30 Speen St. Framingham, MA 01707.
