

Mrs. Antonina “Ida” (Repecko) Lipson, age 97, peacefully passed away on Monday surrounded by her family. She was the beloved wife of the late Walter P. Lipson with whom she shared 47 years of marriage.
Born in Lowell, Ida was the daughter of the late John J. and Helen (Bartis) Repecko. During WWII, Ida was a volunteer for the American Red Cross.
She was a founding member and active communicant of St. Pius V Church in Lynn.
She was a wonderful wife, mother and grandmother who will be deeply missed.
Surviving are daughters, Carole Saltzman and husband Charles of Lynn, Dolores Cassidy and husband Robert of Maine and Juanita Rich and husband Walter of Maine. Also survived by 12 grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren. She was predeceased by 7 siblings.
Ida’s funeral will be held from the Cuffe-McGinn Funeral Home, 157 Maple St Lynn on Saturday at 9:30. Mass at St. Pius V Church at 10:30. Burial to follow in Puritan Lawn Memorial Park, Peabody. Relatives and friends respectfully invited. Visiting hours Friday from 4-8PM.
