Jayne A. Donlon

Jayne A. (Dutra) Donlon, age 68, of Lynn, passed away peacefully on Sunday, February 9, 2025 surrounded by her loving family at home. Born January 31, 1957 in East Boston, she was the daughter of the late John L. Dutra and Lorraine (Cross) Dutra. She was the beloved wife of the late of Gerald L. Donlon.

Jayne enjoyed a life full of laughter and love. Always the life of the party, she enjoyed cooking, listening to music, going to concerts, painting and drawing, reading to her grandchildren and spending time with her family and pets. She was also an avid New England sports fan, never missing a Patriots game. Jayne loved being a mom, grandmother and great grandmother. She prided herself on being active in her children and grandchildren’s school events. She served on the PTA for several years at Hood Elementary School. She was known for her holiday parties and decorations, often drawing crowds to see how she decorated outside of her home for Christmas and Halloween. She was also very proud of her time spent working as a CNA for several years.

She is survived by her children, Skye Sanchioni of Chandler, AZ, Cortney Staffier of Lynn, Dennis Donlon of Lynn, and Allison Donlon and her significant other, Chris Perry, both of Templeton, grandchildren Korinne Pignataro of Lynn, Kylie Sanchioni of Waddell, AZ, Jeremiah Sanchioni DeFilippis of Chandler, AZ and great granddaughter, Faith Murray of Waddell, AZ, siblings Linda Aucella of Calabash, NC, Karen Lowell of Rowley, Jerome Dutra of Sanford, ME and Maria Montello of S.Berwick, ME and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and her husband, Jayne is predeceased by her siblings, John D. Dutra and Paula M. (Dutra) Austin.

A Celebration of Life to honor Jayne and her twin brother John D. Dutra will be held at the Crystal Community Club, Wakefield, on Saturday, June 28, 2025 from 2:00 pm - 6:00 pm.
