Joanne M. Dumond

Born in Lynn, Joanne was the daughter of the late Edward and Joan (Hackett) Ouellette, both of whom predeceased her last year. She was a graduate of Lynn English High School Class of 1966 and later attended Salem State College. She lived in Lynn for most of her life before moving to New Hampshire in 1994.

She was a Legal Researcher for R.J. Boudreau & Associates of Salem, NH for many years. She was previously employed by Parkland Physicians Associates in Derry, NH and was also a constituent services associate for Senator Patricia McGovern in Boston.

Joanne enjoyed daisies, the beach, reading and needlework but above all, she loved her family and friends.

She leaves her children, James Horan and his fiancé Susan Conley of Groton and Michelle Dumond of Hudson, NH. She was the loving Grandmother of Tyler White, Ryan Horan and Zachary Horan. She was also the niece of Mary Ellen Seaberg of Georgetown, James Ouellette of Beverly and Josephine Sears of North Conway, NH. Also survived by many cousins, friends and co-workers who gave her overwhelming support, kindness and love, making her struggle more bearable for her and her family.

Visiting Hours for Joanne will be held in the CUFFE-MCGINN FUNERAL HOME, 157 Maple St. Lynn on Tuesday from 4-7PM followed by a Funeral Service at 7:00PM. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, gifts in Joanne’s memory may be sent to the American Cancer Society, 30 Speen St. Framingham, MA 01701.
