She was born on December 17, 1964 in Brunswick, ME to Eleanor and 'Sonny' Reuben. She had a wonderful childhood and built many friendships. She had a beautiful voice and loved to sing in the Temple choir. She also taught herself how to be a wonderful cook. Joni enjoyed reading Stephen King novels and other suspense books. She graduated from Peabody Veterans Memorial High School in 1983, and then attended Wagner College in New York. She married Robert A. Dion on April 2, 1988 and they had two children Jillian and Robyn. She was a beloved daughter, sister, mother, grandmother and friend. She is survived by a loving brother Paul Reuben, daughters Jillian and Robyn Dion and granddaughter Scarlett.
A Memorial Visitation will be held on Monday from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM in the Cuffe-McGinn Funeral Home, 157 Maple Street, Lynn.
