Karen E. Sullivan

Born in Malden, she was the daughter of the late Arnold R. and Elinor H. (Greene) Jensen. Karen was the loving mother of Michael Sullivan and his wife, Lori Laverty of S. Hampton, NH, Mark Sullivan and his wife Ngina of New Bedford, David Sullivan of Somersworth, NH and Debra Nestor and her husband, Bob of Lynn; the cherished grandmother of Ben and Grace Laverty, Terrence, Renita, Marcus, and Matthew Carter, Chris and Sara Nestor, and 2 great-grandchildren; the dear sister of Elinor Burke of New Hampshire, Susan Martinez of Texas, Jo-Ann Leisentritt of New Hampshire, Andrea Johnson of South Carolina and the late Margaret Griffin, Bruce Jensen and Lisa Newell; and the aunt of many nieces and nephews.

Karen worked at as a nurse's aide at Crotched Mountain Care Facility, Greenfield NH and the former Lynn Hospital for several years and at Building 19 7/8 in Lynn for many years prior to her retirement. She enjoyed puzzles, cross stich and reading. Most of all, Karen enjoyed hosting her family, especially her grandchildren, at her home every year on Christmas Eve for a special celebration.

Karen’s funeral will be held on Sunday, May 27th at 2:00 PM at the CUFFE-McGINN Funeral Home, 157 Maple Street, Lynn. Interment will be private at a later date. Visiting hours will be held on Sunday, from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. prior to the funeral.
