Karen A. Parker

Born in Cambridge, she was the daughter of the late Helmer Fisher and Stella (Stowe) Burrows. She was a resident of Lynn for the past 30 years.

Prior to her retirement, she worked as a Certified Nurse’s Assistant at several area nursing homes for many years. She enjoyed reading, puzzles and bingo.

She leaves her children, Shawn Parker and his wife Lauren of Peabody, Alisha Silvestre-Tobin and her husband John of Lynn, Vicki Kennedy of Lynn, Timothy French of Providence, RI and Edward French and his wife Jacqueline of Ogunquit, ME. She was the Grandmother of Eddie and Austin French, Amanda, Melissa and Jacob Kennedy, Danial and Scot Silvestre and Jaxon Parker. She was the sister of John Fisher of Holiday, FL, Don Fisher of New Jersey, Phillip Fisher of Burlington, Violet Baker of Jamaica Plain, Gwendolyn Ether of Arizona, Doris Morrissey of Merrimack, NH and the late Douglas Fisher and Robert Rodman.

Karen’s Funeral Service will be held in the CUFFE-MCGINN FUNERAL HOME, 157 Maple St. Lynn on Thursday at 11:00AM. Relatives and friends invited. Visiting Hours Wednesday 4-8PM. Gifts in Karen’s memory may be sent to the American Cancer Society, 30 Speen St. Framingham, MA 01701.
