

Born and raised in Lynn, she was the daughter of the late Kathleen LeBlanc and eldest sister to three siblings, Rita LeBlanc of Lynn, the late Joseph LeBlanc of Lynn, and the late Nancy Bozza of Wareham. She graduated from St. Mary’s High School, married the love of her life in 1951, the late William Plourde and between opening a series of retail establishments, raised 7 children. She was an avid reader and loved her crossword puzzles, a dedicated shopper, and enthusiastic restaurant patron. Kathleen, above all cherished her time spent with family.
Kathleen is survived by her daughter Sheryl Gould and her husband John Gould of Danvers, her sons David Plourde of Lynn, Christopher Plourde of Lynn and his wife Michelle Plourde, Matthew Plourde of Lynn, Kathleen Black of Lynn and her husband James, Paul Plourde of Middleton and his wife Cindy Plourde, and the late William Plourde, Jr. She leaves behind 13 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.
Visiting hours will be held on Tuesday, April 25, 2023 from 4:00 pm – 7:00 pm in the Cuffe-McGinn Funeral Home, 157 Maple Street, Lynn. A funeral service for Kathleen will be held in the Funeral Home the following morning at 10:00 am. Interment will immediately follow at St. Joseph Cemetery, Lynn.
