Kevin D. Lannon

Kevin D. Lannon “Haudo,” age 57, passed away from a lengthily illness on Wednesday, August 12, 2020, at Kaplan House in Danvers MA. He was the beloved husband of Maria (Nikolopoulos) Lannon, with whom he shared 29 wonderful years of marriage.

Born in Lynn, MA on January 22, 1963, he was a son of the late James and Mary (Moriarty) Lannon. Kevin attended Lynn English High School and Salem State University. Following this, Kevin went on to work for General Electric for 23 years.

For all who knew him, Kevin was a fan of classic rock and a passionate drummer for the former bands G-Men and The Skinny. Kevin also loved watching the Bruins and Patriots with friends and family. He had other hobbies including playing hockey, golf, and baseball. In his prime, he was a skilled defenseman in hockey nicknamed “Killer” and a strong catcher for Lynn English. He was a member of the General Electric Employees Athletic Association (GEEAA) and a champion of their Monday night golf league at Gannon Golf Course in 2019.

Above all else, though, Kevin loved his family. He was a devoted husband, and father, who cherished every memory he made with his loved ones.

Along with his loving wife, Kevin is survived by his children, Joseph Lannon, Christina Lannon and Matthew Lannon of Lynn; his siblings, James A. and his wife Kim Lannon of Lynn, Steve and his wife Susanne Lannon of Swampscott, Julie Lannon Manley of Swampscott, Gary and his wife Kristen Lannon of Lynn. As well as many other dear nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Arrangements: Visitation will be held on Tuesday, August 18th from 8:30 a.m. until 11 a.m. at Cuffe-McGinn Funeral Home, 157 Maple Street, Lynn, MA. A Funeral Mass will be held at 12 p.m. at Saint Pius V Church, 215 Maple St., Lynn, MA. Burial will follow at Pine Grove Cemetery, Lynn.
