

Mr. Kim Stamos, age 61, of Lynn, died at his home surrounded by his loving family on Tuesday Oct. 7, 2014 after battling cancer for over three years. He and his wife Terri (Ciaraldi) Stamos had been together of the past 34 years.
Born in Lynn, he lived in Lynn and Nahant, and was the son of Christie and Barbara (Hantzopoulos) Stamos of Nahant. He graduated from Lynn Classical High School, Class of 1971, and attended the Sylvania Technical School and Worcester Polytechnic Institute for computers.
Electronics was his passion. From 1990 until 2011 he worked as an electrical mechanical engineer for Axcelis Technologies of Beverly, formerly Eaton Corp.
On the side, he repaired synthesizers, musical equipment and televisions.
He attended St. George Greek Orthodox Church, Lynn. He was an avid fan of the Red Sox and the Patriots. He loved beekeeping and was a pinball enthusiast.
In addition to his wife and parents, he leaves three sons James Stamos of Beverly, Gregory Stamos of Salem and Edward Jones of Boston, a sister Cathy Plassmann and her husband Joseph of Peabody, four nephews Joseph, Cory, Matthew and Michael Plassmann, and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
His funeral will be held on Saturday at 9AM from the Cuffe-McGinn Funeral Home, 157 Maple Street, Lynn, followed by a funeral Service in St. George Greek Orthodox church, Lynn at 10AM. Burial in Pine Grove Cemetery, Lynn. Visiting hours Friday 4-7 PM. Those who wish may make donations in his memory to the St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
