Kristine S. LeBlanc

Kristine S. (Simmons) LeBlanc, 53, of Lynn, passed away on Thursday, June 15, 2023 after a courageous 10 year battle with brain cancer. She was the beloved wife of John LeBlanc, with whom she shared 26 years of marriage.

Born in Machias, Maine, she was the daughter of Harold Simmons and the late Michelle Gately, and was the stepdaughter of Eileen Simmons. She was the devoted mother of Caitlin LeBlanc, Morgan LeBlanc, Delanie LeBlanc, and Heidi Mejia, and the dear sister of Brad Gatchell, Wayne Gatchell, and the late Bret Simmons. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, aunts, and uncles.

Raised in Lynn, Kristine graduated from Lynn Classical High School, class of 1987 after which she continued her education, ultimately pursuing hair school and getting her Cosmetology license. She was a hairdresser for many years, a doting stay-at-home mom, and eventually finished her career-path at Lynn Public Schools.

Visiting hours will be held for Kristine on Wednesday, June 21, 2023, from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. in the Cuffe-McGinn Funeral Home, 157 Maple Street, Lynn.
