Linda Marie McKenna

Born, raised and a lifelong resident of Lynn. Mrs. McKenna graduated from Lynn English High School with the class of 1961. She was a devoted mother and raised her family in Lynn. She was a keypunch operator in Boston and then a longtime employee of Russo’s Candy House in Saugus. Linda enjoyed bowling, puzzles, and spending time with her family and friends. She was a dedicated member of the Lynn Lions Club and St. Pius V Church. Linda volunteered for many years as a Big Sister.

Mrs. McKenna was the daughter of the late Archibald and Dorothea (Lewis) Donachie. She was predeceased by her two brothers Charles and David Donachie.

Mrs. McKenna is survived by her three sons, Scott McKenna and his wife Dayle of Groveland. John McKenna and his wife Judy of Groveland, and Mark McKenna and his wife Debbie of Lynn; her 10 grandchildren; Derek McKenna, Janelle Gauslin, Matthew McKenna and his fiancé Corrina Adams, Ryan Lepore, Katie Lang, Kyle McKenna, Gordon Day and his wife Errin, Caitlin, Jaclyn and Hannah Belanger; and 4 great grandchildren; Lillian and Jack Gauslin, Jolene Day and Azlynn Belanger.

Friends and family are invited to attend Mrs. McKenna’s visitation on Sunday, November 12, 2023 from 1:00 PM to 4:30 PM at Cuffe-McGinn Funeral Home, 157 Maple Street, Lynn. Her funeral service will follow at 4:30 PM. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in her memory to the Restless Legs Syndrome (RLS) Foundation.
