Louise M. (Donovan) Barnes, age 86, of Salisbury, formerly of Lynn passed away Wednesday June 25, 2014 at Anna Jaques Hospital in Newburyport. She was the beloved wife of the late Franklin A. Barnes, Sr., with whom she shared 65 years of marriage.
Born in Winthrop, she was the daughter of the late Timothy J and Margaret I. (McCourt) Donovan. She was employed with the Nynex Yellow Pages for many years, and was a member of the Telephone Pioneers of America. Louise was also a member of the Emblem Club at the Winthrop Elks.
Louise is survived by her children, Kathleen Cousminer and her husband Jeff of Salisbury, Stephen Barnes of Lynn, and Robert S. Barnes, Sr. and his wife Paula of Templeton. She was the beloved grandmother of several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her son Franklin A. Barnes, Jr.
