M. Laura Jordan

Mrs. M. Laura (Courtemanche) Jordan, age 93, died Monday in the Merrimack Valley Hospice House following a lengthy illness. She was the beloved wife of the late Matthew A. Jordan and Laurence H. Little.

Born in Lynn, she was the daughter of the late Arthur J. and Marie S. (St. Laurent) Courtemanche. She attended Lynn Schools and was a resident of Lynn before moving to East Dennis many years ago.

Prior to her retirement in 1971, she was employed as a Sales Manager by Rooks Inc. of Lynn. She was a member of the Garden Club and the Walkers Club both of Cape Cod. She enjoyed baking, gardening and spending time with her family.

She leaves her children, Laurence C. Little of Sandown, NH, Charles R. Little of Atkinson, NH and Sandra E. Little of Amesbury. She is survived by 7 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. She was the sister of Lea Conley of Nahant and the late Arthur, Victor and Rene Courtemanche and Bertha Valeri.

Laura’s Funeral will be held from the CUFFE-MCGINN FUNERAL HOME 157 Maple St. Lynn on Friday at 10:00AM followed by a Funeral Mass in Saint Pius V Church at 11:00AM. Relatives and friends invited. Interment Saint Jean’s Cemetery. Visiting Hours Thursday 5-8PM. In lieu of flowers, gifts in her memory may be sent to the Merrimack Valley Hospice House, 360 North Ave. Haverhill, MA 01830.
