

A lifelong resident of Lynn, Margaret was the daughter of the late John and Marguerite (Linehan) Patten. She enjoyed playing bingo, reading and dancing. Margaret enjoyed spending time with family and friends.
Margaret is survived by her children; Dorothy Szabacsi and her husband Sandor, Nancy Lewis and her husband Robert, John Doucette and his wife Darlene, William Doucette and his wife Noreen, Donna Finnegan and her husband David, James Doucette and his wife Maureen, Richard Doucette and his wife Lucy, and Robert Doucette. She was the loving Grandmother of 16 and Great Grandmother of 16. She was the dear sister of William Patten and his wife Marilyn, and the late Lawrence, John, and Richard Patten, Henrietta Bigos, Laura Bequette, Carol Patten, Josephine Noone, and Barbara Proodian. She was the sister-in-law of Walter Proodian. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews. Margaret will be sadly missed by all who knew her.
Margaret’s Funeral Service will be held at the CUFFE-MCGINN FUNERAL HOME, 157 Maple St. Lynn on Friday at 10:30AM. Visitation Thursday from 4-8PM. Relatives and friends invited. In lieu of flowers, gifts in Margaret’s memory may be made to the American Cancer Society, 30 Speen Street, Framingham, MA 01701.
