Marguerite Buckley George

Born in Lynn, she was the daughter of the late James and Alice T. (Hennessey) Buckley. Marguerite attended Lynn schools and was a graduate of Lynn English High School Class of 1947. She retired from GLSS (Greater Lynn Senior Services) where she worked as a liaison person for home health care.

She leaves her children, Kathleen LaCombe and her husband Peter of Saxapahaw, NC, Gerald George of Dracut, Ma, Michael George and his wife Lisa of Graham, NC, Patrick George and his wife Puriza of Snow Camp, NC, and Matthew George of Greensboro, NC. Also survived by 6 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Rev. Robert Buckley, Eileen Buckley, John, James, Gertrude and Catherine Buckley, Phyllis E. Daneluk, Mary Callahan and Clarie Forrest.

Her Funeral Service will be held in the CUFFE-MCGINN Funeral Home, 157 Maple St. Lynn on Friday at 11:00AM. Relatives and friends invited. Interment St. Mary’s Cemetery. Visitation prior to the Service beginning at 10:00AM. In lieu of flowers, gifts in her memory may be sent to the local chapter of ASPCA.
