Mrs. Marilyn Elizabeth (Misner) McLaughlin, 83, of Pinellas Park, FL, formerly of Lynn, passed away Sunday September 28, 2014 after a lengthy illness. She was the loving wife of the late Ret. Lynn Police Officer James E. McLaughlin.
Born in Lynn, she was the daughter of the late Frank B. and Vera E. (Smith) Misner. She was a graduate of Saugus High School Class of 1949. After graduation, she worked for T. L. Woolworth and later Filenes.
Marilyn was the mother of the late Thomas J. McLaughlin. She was the sister of the late Fran Burnett. Marilyn is survived by her brothers-in-law, John “Jack” McLaughlin and his wife Marie of Danvers and Paul McLaughlin and his wife Kelly of Roanoke, VA. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Cuffe-McGinn Funeral Home. Family and friends are kindly invited to attend a Graveside Service at St. Joseph’s Cemetery, 134 Broadway Lynn, MA on Tuesday at 1:00PM. Gifts in her memory may be made to the charity of one’s choice.
