Born in Boston, he was the son of John Shanahan of Lynn and of the late Helen (Kozlowski) Shanahan.
In addition to his father he leaves a brother Dan Shanahan, a sister Susan Raynes of Salem, 3 nieces and a nephew.
A memorial funeral Service will be held on Friday at 9 AM in the Cuffe-McGinn Funeral Home 157 Maple Street, Lynn. Burial in St. Joseph’s Cemetery.
