
Born in Lynn, she was the daughter of the late Michael and Helena (Hayden) Murray. She was a lifelong Lynn resident.
Mrs. Barry retired from the Lynn Public School System.
She was an avid New England sports fan. She enjoyed bowling and traveling to Ireland, Florida, New Hampshire and Maine.
She leaves two daughters Kathy M. Blomberg of North Reading, and Gail A. Rivers and her husband Richard of Wakefield, a son Brian E. Barry and his wife Nancy of Sebago, Maine, four grandchildren Kerry Blomberg, Kelly and Jennifer Rivers and Sara Barry , a great-grandson Harrison Gould, and many nieces and nephews. She was also the sister of the late Bertha Niebrzydowski, Ruth Hanson, Margaret Sinitski, Ellen McMahon and Helena Vitale.
The funeral will be held on Saturday at 8 AM from the Cuffe-McGinn Funeral Home 157 Maple Street, Lynn. Funeral Mass in St. Mary’s Church, Lynn at 9 AM. Burial in Puritan Lawn Memorial Park, Peabody. Visiting hours Friday 4-8 PM. Donations in her memory may be made to Alzheimer’s Association, 311 Arsenal Street, Watertown, MA 02472, or to a charity of choice.
