Mary Gallant

Mary was born in Lynn, daughter of the late John and Mary (O’Reilly) Dolan. She was a graduate of the Burdett College and was employed as an Executive Secretary at General Electric. She also worked at the Mass Department of Education for Special Needs.

She was a long time communicant of Our Lady of the Assumption Church. Mame’s true devotion was as a wife, mother, grandmother and friend.

She leaves her three children Robert (Jed) Gallant and his wife Debbie of Rockwall, TX, Paul L. Gallant and his wife Cindy of San Diego, CA, and Janet G. Wood and her husband Kevin of Winchester. She was the sister of Alyce Dolan of St. Petersburg, FL and also leaves her six grandchildren, Chad Gallant of Saratoga, N.Y., Allison Gallant of San Diego, CA, Mark Gallant of San Diego, CA, Justin Wood of Winchester, Toby Gallant of San Diego, CA, and Christian Wood of Winchester. Mary is also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends.

Funeral from the Cuffe-McGinn Funeral Home, 157 Maple St. Lynn, Wednesday at 11:30 AM. Funeral Mass in Our Lady of the Assumption Church, Lynnfield at 12:30 PM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours Tuesday from 4-8 PM. In lieu of flowers, donations in Mame’s memory may be sent to the Winchester Hospital Foundation-Fund for Nursing Education, 611 Main St. Winchester, MA 01890.
