Maureen Spagnoli

Mrs. Maureen T. (O’Brien) Spagnoli, age 61, of Lynn, died peacefully at Kaplan Family Hospice house surrounded by her family on Monday evening after a courageous battle with cancer. She was the wife of the late Attorney Ronald F. Spagnoli.

Born in Lynn, she is daughter of Mathew O’Brien of Peabody and the late Theresa O’Brien. She was a graduate of Lynn Classical High School '71 and a lifelong resident of Lynn.

Throughout her life, Maureen was employed at a cardiac cath Lab, as a Realtor, and most recently as an HIV educator for the city of Lynn, though her favorite titles were "Mom" and "Nana." She enjoyed traveling, creating stained glass, reading, blowing bubbles, her rubber ducky pajamas, planting in her garden, a good cup of tea, trips to Twin Rivers, Irish breakfasts on Cape Cod, and especially spending time with her grandchildren who were the light of her life.

Maureen is survived by her daughter Quinn O. Condon and her husband Matthew of Danvers; two grandchildren Christopher and Milo; a sister Margaret Bishop (John) of Lynn. She was predeceased by her beloved son Christopher Spagnoli.

Her Funeral will be held from the CUFFE-MCGINN FUNERAL HOME, 157 Maple St. Lynn on Friday at 8 AM followed by a Funeral Mass in St. Pius V Church at 9 AM. Relatives and friends invited. Burial will be in Pine Grove Cemetery, Lynn. Visiting Hours Thursday 4-8PM.
