Born in Bani, Dominican Republic to Francisco Antonio Lara Garcias and Josefina De La Rosa Presinal. Rafael raised his family in both the United States and the Dominican Republic. He loved helping others and always donated to those in need.
In addition to his children, Rafael is survived by his grandson Matthew Pena De La Rosa, and his siblings Altagracia Lara, Domingo De La Rosa, Carmen De La Rosa, and Juan De La Rosa.
Visitation will be held on Friday, January 10, 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Cuffe-McGinn Funeral Home, 157 Maple Street, Lynn. Burial will be held in the Dominican Republic.
